COME AND GET INSPIRED WITH THE AMAZING HOME FOR IMAGINATIVE FRIENDS TENT TALKS!
Join us at the Home for Imaginative Friends Tent Talks this year, centered around the theme of authenticity.
Embrace the mantra of being your authentic self in every aspect of life – from work to fashion to personal beliefs. Life is too short and you're too important to not be the real you! Camp VC is proof that certain environments empower us to be our true selves, but how do we take this feeling of freedom into our everyday lives, going against the grain of other's expectations?
At this year's Tent Talks, you'll hear from super inspiring individuals who epitomise authenticity, defying norms and embracing their unique identities. From thought-provoking discussions to hands-on workshops, we'll equip you with the tools to unearth your true self and integrate it seamlessly into your reality.
The Home For Imaginative Friends, founded by genius creative brand maker Fi O'Brien is a monthly meet up for creative thinkers, designers, artists, punks, foodies, renegades, inventors, weirdos, losers, winners, disruptors, rebels & their friends!
See ya there!
CATCHING THE SPARKS: HOW TO HARNESS THE POWER OF IDENTITY IN CREATIVITY WITH JAMIE JUNE HILL
A 60-minute workshop to unlock a better understanding of our most authentic self, and how it can be applied to power up all our creative endeavors and desires.
Likely laughs, potential tears, and definitely prizes (which will be a bit sh*t so don't get your hopes up). Interactive if you want it to be, and a safe space for all.
Jamie June Hill (they/she) is a creative, writer, poet, speaker, over-enthuisiast and absolute obsessionist who uses the power of language to work through the general state of confusion they find themselves in most days - all in an attempt to work out the whys of life, the true sources of creativity, and the universal human truths behind it all.
Her work aims to empower the pioneers, through topics from deep dredgings of the soul of a queer person, to the silliness of existing as a being who doesn't understand the rules of society.
Overall Jamie June wants to make learning about stuff - and yourself - fun, using the skills stolen from 15 years working in advertising. Jamie June is the founder of the Queer Cycle Crew, Creative Director of Trans+ History Week, Outstanding LGBTQ+ Future Role Model, Trans+ activist, and winner of 'Poem of the Week' at school in 1997.
