local community
Hi! We’re Camp VC, a women’s adventure festival. We’ve been running for 10 years and we’ll be returning to One Giant Leap for the fourth year in July from 24th - 26th July 2026.
We’re incredibly lucky to call Llangollen home and are so grateful for the support of our local community. From local businesses and activity providers to everyone who joins us as attendees - thank you for helping make Camp VC so special.
We’re committed to managing sound and traffic to minimise disruption for local residents and businesses, and below is some important information.
2026 traffic management
SET-UP
Camp VC 2026 setup runs from Monday 20th–Thursday 23rd July with staggered arrivals, so we don’t expect any significant impact on normal traffic - but if you notice a few extra vehicles heading to the site, that’s why.
ROAD CLOSURE & ONE WAY SYSTEM
A one-way system and temporary road closure will be in place during peak arrival and departure times to help manage traffic flow. This plan has been developed in collaboration with the Events Division of professional traffic management company Chevron and approved by the Highways & Environmental Services team at Denbighshire Council.
INGRESS
Friday 24th July 10am - 6pm: No access to Tyn Dwr Road via Maesmawr Road (resident/business access only) and One Way System southeastbound on Bache Mille Road after the Pengwern Estate.
More info: On event ingress a road closure will be in place stopping event traffic from accessing Tyn Dwr Road via Maesmawr Road. This road closure will be manned and open to residents and businesses of Tyn Dwr Road only.
Directional signage will be in place to ensure all event traffic accesses the Event Site via the A5 → Queen Street → Regent Street → Bache Mill Road.
A one-way system will be in place southeastbound on Bache Mill Road towards Tyn Dŵr Road after the Pengwern Estate. The What3words reference for the starting location of the one-way system is: ///documents.palettes.tummy.
The purpose of these measures on ingress are:
to ensure event traffic does not use Birch Hill
to minimize congestion on Tyn Dwr Road
to swiftly move traffic off the road and onto the event site by bringing all vehciles in the same direction
