Join the Camp VC Volunteer Crew
Be part of the team that brings the magic to life.
Camp VC is powered by women and non-binary people who show up for each other and create a weekend like no other. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of it all - the reason our community feels so special.
If you’re excited to help shape a wild, empowering, unforgettable weekend, this is your moment!
Whether you’re brand-new or part of the OG crew, this page is your guide - what volunteering feels like, what the roles involve, when we’ll need you on site, what you’ll get, and how to apply.
Volunteers must be 18+ for legal and safeguarding reasons.
Women and non-binary people are warmly welcomed.
Applications are open now and close on Sunday 22nd February 2026.
Successful applicants will be contacted by early-March.
WHAT IT MEANS TO VOLUNTEER AT CAMP VC
You’ll be joining a community who believes in freedom, kindness, excellence, and protecting each other. You’ll meet new friends, cheer each other on, learn new skills, and help create a world of adventure where people feel their safest and most free.
From the moment attendees roll into the Welsh hills to the second they head home glowing and dusty, you’ll possibly be one of the legends who makes the magic happen.
What volunteers say:
“I came alone and left with a whole new family.”
“The best thing I’ve ever done for myself.”
“I’d volunteer again in a heartbeat.”
VOLUNTEER ROLES
There’s a role for every vibe and every skill set. You don’t need experience - just enthusiasm, kindness, and the willingness to get stuck in.
Here are some of the areas you might help with:
Gate & check-in team - welcoming attendees, checking tickets, setting the tone
Bar Crew - serving drinks, keeping the party vibes going
Marshalling & wayfinding - helping people find their way across site
Workshop & activity support - assisting instructors and helping sessions run smoothly
Site support - pitching in where needed to keep the weekend rolling
Community support crew - offering help, info, and encouragement around camp
Full role descriptions come later… for now, just tell us where you feel most excited to help and any specific skills or training you can bring to the weekend.

FAQ’s
-
Camp VC volunteers must be women or non-binary people aged 18 or over. We welcome all races and ethnicities, sexualities and abilities - if you’re excited to be here, we want you here.
-
Nope! We welcome first-timers. You’ll get training, support, and everything you need to feel confident. But if you do have previous experience that you feel is relevant or any qualifications, please let us know in your application form.
-
Absolutely. We can’t guarantee identical shift patterns, but let us know in your application and we’ll do our best.
-
A mix of fun, teamwork, connection, and hands-on helping. Expect some early mornings or late nights, lots of smiles, and being part of a wildly supportive crew.
-
Your shift rota will be sent to you by mid-March so you’ll know exactly when and where you’re helping across the weekend. Volunteers are expected to work a minimum of 3 x up to 8 hour shifts.
-
We want volunteering to be accessible to as many people as possible. If your application is successful, let’s have a chat and we’ll work with you to make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your role.
-
Volunteers are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel to and from the festival. Travel costs are non-refundable, so please make sure you’re able to get to site by Thursday afternoon (see timings below in “When do I need to be on site”). We’ll share travel tips and recommended routes with all confirmed volunteers. Before the event, we’ll host virtual meet-ups so you can get to know the crew early — and potentially buddy up for travel if you’d like.
-
All volunteers must be able to arrive on site on Thursday 23rd July by 3pm for induction, training, and team onboarding (as well as exclusive access to activities and our welcome meal). This helps us get everyone together and ready before the weekend kicks off.
Volunteer departures on Sunday 27th July take place between 3-7pm (depending on your circumstances and travel) to help close the event safely.
If you’re able to stay until midday Monday 28th July, even better — it really helps us with pack-down. No pressure - we know this isn’t possible for everyone.
Let us know your availability in the application form.
